Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella wrote on X that, Sam Altman and Greg Brockman are now his colleagues and have joined Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team while Emmett Shear, the former CEO of Twitch has been named the CEO of OpenAI.

    Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft just confirmed that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman the co-founders of OpenAI have joined Microsoft to lead a new AI research team. Nadella also confirms that Microsoft will continue to work with OpenAI and has confidence in the product roadmap.

    Emmett Shear named as OpenAI’s new CEO

    Emmett Shear, the ex-CEO of Twitch has been named as the CEO of OpenAI, the leading generative AI startup that developed the popular AI chatbot ChatGPT. Emmett Shear, who resigned from TwitchTV’s CEO position back in March 2023 will replace the interim CEO Mira Murati.

    Logitech launches Wave Keys keyboard

    Logitech has officially launched its ergonomic Wave Keys keyboard in India. Priced at Rs 6,995, it comes in Graphite and Off-White colourways and can be used with any platform. This wireless keyboard works over Bluetooth and also includes a Logi BOLT receiver for enhanced privacy.

    Portronics launches Pico 12, an Android powered portable projector

    Portronics has launched a new smart portable projector named ‘Pico 12’. The device runs on Android 11 and lets users watch content from popular OTT platforms like Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar.

    It can project a 120-inch screen at 4K resolution and comes with 5W speakers. Portronics Pico 12 is available for purchase from Amazon for Rs 29,999.

    Microsoft now has a ‘Windows App’ for iPhone and web browsers, but it isnt available for Android

    Microsoft recently unveiled a new ‘Windows App’ that offers access to Windows-powered machines via Cloud. It is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows and web browsers, but there is no word if it will be available on Android and Chromebooks.

    According to screenshots shared by Microsoft, users will be able to remotely launch Windows app on Cloud PCs using the ‘Windows App’ and even switch between different user accounts.

    Indkal Technologies has lauched Acer G series of smart TVs, powered by Google TV OS. Available in 32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch sizes, the new set of Acer smart TVs offer cutting-edge technologies like Dolby Atmos, MEMC, and also offers super brightness and black level augmentation for enhanced contrast levels. Powered by an Arm Cortex A55 CPU with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, these smart TVs are manufactured in India and will be available via various channels.

    The 32-inch model is priced at Rs 21,999, while the 43-inch and 55-inch variants retail for Rs 42,999, and Rs 62,999, respectively.

    Sony has officially announced that The Last of Us Part II Remastered is coming to the PlayStation 5 on January 19, 2024. Apart from visual enhancements, the remastered version also brings several new games and 3 new levels.
